The Cheapest Ways to Eat Steak Here

The Cheapest Ways to Eat Steak Here

The steak page reads as expensive because the eye goes to the $33.99 Porterhouse. There are five separate routes to beef under $15.

Ranked cheapest first, with what each one actually gets you.

Road Kill at $12.49

The cheapest beef entrée on the menu, and the one most people skip because of the name. It is chopped steak under sautéed onions, mushrooms and jack cheese, at 760 calories with the toppings included.

It is not a steak in the whole-muscle sense — it is ground and formed — so if the texture of a cut steak is what you want, this is not it. But it is a hot beef plate with two sides for $12.49, and on that basis nothing else on the board competes.

Early Dine sirloin at $11.99

Cheaper still, if your timing works. The 6oz Sirloin Steak Dinner is on the $11.99 Early Dine list against its usual $13.49 — and unlike Road Kill this is an actual hand-cut steak.

The constraints are real: dine-in only, availability varies by location, not on holidays, and it typically ends around 6pm. But if you can be there, it is the cheapest genuine steak on the menu.

The other three

The 6oz Hand-Cut Sirloin at $13.49 is the cheapest steak at standard pricing, at 250 calories with two sides.

Steak Kabob at $14.49 is marinated steak with onion, mushroom, tomato and peppers over rice. Note it comes with one side rather than two, which narrows the gap to the sirloin more than the price suggests.

Country Fried Sirloin at $14.49 is the same sirloin battered and fried with cream gravy — 1,180 calories, and the heaviest non-steak entrée on the menu.

  • Early Dine 6oz Sirloin — $11.99, timing-dependent
  • Road Kill — $12.49, chopped rather than cut
  • 6oz Hand-Cut Sirloin — $13.49, cheapest standard steak
  • Steak Kabob — $14.49, but only one side
  • Country Fried Sirloin — $14.49, 1,180 calories

Frequently asked

Is Road Kill actually a steak?

It is chopped and formed beef rather than a whole cut. A hot beef plate for $12.49, but not the same eating experience as a hand-cut steak.

What is the cheapest hand-cut steak?

$11.99 via Early Dine where available, otherwise the 6oz Hand-Cut Sirloin at $13.49.

Do all of these come with two sides?

Most do. Steak Kabob comes with one, which is worth factoring in when comparing prices.
